Central budget accomodation

There are many similar requests on here but they all seem to specify the beach area.

Can anyone recommend a cheap (£50/60) a night hotel in a central(ish) location-from what I've read, this is Bur Dubai? One where perhaps within a ten minute walk we can see some tourist sights and get on a metro. We would prefer to visit, as opposed to stay in the older part of town.

Just my boyfriend and I, so any experiences of being quizzed about being married should be ruled out too.

We will have just spent two weeks in Sri Lanka so not fussed about the beach/nor will have a huge amount of money left.

Small but clean/chain type hotel is perfectly acceptable,

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thank you!

You won;t be quizzed about being married as people will just assume you are - see previous numerous posts on this topic.

If you don't want to stay in the older part pf town then Bur Dubai and Deira should be avoided trouble is they are the areas that have the cheapest accomodation, however, if price is your key driver then Bur Dubai or Deira is where you will find accomodation.

Look at

Ibis or Novotel either in Deira, Sheikh Zayed Road or Al Barsha

Holiday Inn Express, of which there are several, none have pools though and Holiday Inn Express Safa Park is the most central

Many thanks.

I must have got my facts wrong. I was aware that Deira was often referred to as the old part, but thought Bur Dubai was more developed.

If I were to just want to stay within that budget, to see the key attractions in Dubai (we're only there 2 days) where would be best?

Thanks again.

To stay within your budget then Bur Dubai or Deira would be best.

Or you could try the chains I have mentioned above and also the locations
