We had tea there in June for 500UAED because our finances could not quite stretch to anything else. We had a lovely array of beautiful sandwiches, little cakes, scones and cream, chocolate dipped strawberries with gold leaf dotted on them, chocolates, fruit, latte coffees. These were served on little plates on a cake stand shaped like the hotel. They are replenished whenever we were ready. We stayed about 1.5 hours. In that time that lovely staff were very attentive but not intrusive. We had short chats with them about New Zealand and Dubai. We were able to take a few photos and the staff took a couple of us both together which was nice. When we were leaving, staff asked if we had seen the restaurant with the beautiful underwater theme...they told us how to get there and it was a lovely sight with all the fish swimming beside the dining tables. You can't look around the whole hotel, but what you do see can only make you imagine what the rest of the hotel is like....gold all around, even in the ladies bathroom!!!
