In karachi these days you can do fishing (surf casting) with chances of landing threadfin, queenfish and trevalley If you are looking for a professional guide then search for Aziz Agha.

Other than that you can do para sailing, speed boating, kayaking or jet ski from Marina club or airmen club (rates were so pathetic that my brain did not register them)

A bit cheaper option is knee boarding, banana tows. http://www.diversreefkarachi.com/ (just for record he is a personal friend of mine) no commercial affliations. too bad it is monsoon time otherwise snorkelling at Churna is great from October to April. Khizer is a great outdoors person and his expertise expand to trekking in Karakorum as well

You can also do windsurfing but no commercial outlets from where you can rent windsurfing rigs you just need to make good friends at Marina Club or Karachi Yacht Club speaking of which its a great place where they hold dinghy racing every sundays, they have enterprise, laser, hobby cats and windsurfers but mostly owned by private members but with right connections I think they do allow guests (especially foreigners) to participate as well.

French beach is a place where you can go for body surfing these days, board surfing can be done as well but waves are not that great mostly they are breakers with very little floatation but there are exceptional great waves as well at right tide and wind.

After monsoon you can do scuba or snorkelling or big game fishing or bird watching in mangroves.

BTW any specific sports that you are looking for? few more words of advice, speak to the people of your embassy in Pakistan or other foreigners here they might already have contacts in Karachi Yacht Club or French beach.

Sorry tourism here is not in the main stream but rather spread in pockets here and there

I think non member can also enjoy Parasailing from Marina Club charges would be a bit high though not sure about jet ski from there but Airmen Club in Korangi Creek do offer rental service for jet skis besides there other activities as well. An added advantage is that they have some sort of an arrangement with Savor Restaurant in Phase 8, Defence from where you can take a ferry to Airmen Club if you want to avoid the Korangi Road for rush or security concerns.
