Dubrovnik to Mostar or Montenegro

My partner I are travelling to Dubrovnik for a few days and were looking to see a few sights. My question is would you recommend Mostar or Montenegro as a day trip from Dubrovnik.? How long does it take to travel to both? and can anyone recommend a company to do this through? or is it best to hire a car and drive?

Also whats the easiest way to get to Korkula for a day trip and is it worth a visit?

Thanks in advance

We were just in Dubrovnik and took day trips to both Korcula and Mostar. Both involve a lot of driving and are full day trips. We used Supertours (they have several locations in Dubrovnik old town) and were very happy. On Korcula trip, we stopped at Ston, Korcula (by boat), winery, oyster beds (for a taste!), plus some other nice views and interesting narration. There were just 6 of us in the group and the price was very fair. Fewer stops on Mostar trip but town, especially bridge, are interesting. Stop in Mostar bridge museum and climb to top of tower.

We've used Adriatic Explore for trips to Mostar, it is about 3 hours each way, with a couple of stops outbound from Dubrovnik and one on the return leg. We went to Montenegro in 2011, can't remember who with, but it was about the same travel time IIRC, stopping in Kotor and Budva. Kotor in particular was very interesting.

It will be worth asking at your hotel, they will be able to arrange trips for you and charge them back to your room account,
