We have just returned from Dubrovnik. It was amazing.Anyone wishing to ask any questions please feel free to.
Tell us more Mary.....
Glad you had a good time.
We went for 7 days. We stayed at the Valamar Club Hotel which was fab.
Dubrovnik is a amazing city.We did the city walls which from the top you can see all around the city.It takes about 2 hours to go around it all. There are some steep steps you go up to get onto the wall but once you on on the top the views are lovely. The prices for food and drinks vary but if you go up the side streets they are much cheaper. The pile gate gets very busy so go early
There are loads of churches, museums, galleries and places or history which are all fab. We went down to the old city at night and the views were fantastic. We went to Mostar which is up in the mountains. Again breath taken views. The people are so friendly. Would go again without a doubt.
We went on a day trip from a company called Lege Navalis. They picked us up from the hotel and they were really good. There was only 6 people in the mini bus so it was better. The cost was only £33 each.

Could you recommend some nice places to eat, not too cheap but not too expensive either?
How was the weather? Is it worth packing winter/summer clothes?
Was there any boat trips worth doing that won't take too long?
We are going a week Tuesday for 4 days.
Thanks in advance
Is it pricey for eating out?
It can be very pricey but not sure what your definition of pricey is... look around and find a place within your budget. You can always get things like pizza relatively inexpensively, but other things like fish can be very expensive.
Dubrovnik is generally more expensive than pretty much anywhere else on the Adriatic coast. But, as Barry says, pizza, pasta, grilled meat is OK.
