We are flying to Croatia in July with the aim of getting to Tisno, however flights to either Split or Zadar which would have been ideal are more expensive, involve more travel for us in the UK to the departure airports (London) and are at inconvenient times and dates.
I've found some flights Manchester to Dubrovnik which are much cheaper, on better dates and easier/cheaper/quicker for us to get to the airport, but we need to decide if the savings are worth it after considering travel in Croatia from Dubrovnik to our final destination and back before booking!
I've been quoted for an 8 seater minivan transfer however as there are only two of us this is nowhere near in budget, I've heard there are regular buses in the direction of Zadar but have had no luck on the Croatian websites that I have found. Would the train also be an option?
If there is anyone that could help, I would really appreciate some advice on ticket price, departure times and journey times.
Some more info, our flight arrives at 19:25 so I could get us a cheap room for the night and set off north early morning, or would consider travelling through the night if it was an option?
Our flight back is at 20:25 so would have plenty of time to travel through the day.
Many many thanks for anyone who can help out with some info!
