Dubrovnik to Split on a train?

Hi everyone.

I'll be in Dubrovnik at the beginning of June and wanted to get the train up to Split. Is this possible? How long would it take? Ideally I'd leave Dubrovnik early in the morning. The Croatian train website said it would take 45 hours as it goes through Zagreb?? Can anyone tell me if there is a faster and more direct way to get there please (preferably by train as I will have an interrail pass which i would like to use.) Thanks!

There are no trains whatsoever from Dubrovnik to Split as there is no train service in Dubrovnik only bus which takes approximately 4 hours plus but is very inexpensive

Have a good trip !

Hi found this one for you - hope it helps !!

Do know that the buses run often from the main bus station in Dubrovnik all day - there are around 12 buses per day I think but not quite sure as I have not used this service myself.

Thanks guys!

Roughly how long does it take? I only have one day in Split and I have to leave Dubrovnik that morning to go to Split, I stay there overnight and leave Split the next morning! So I think I'll have to get an early bus!!

Thanks for being so helpful, you're all fantastic!
