Panama canal partial transit

Hi everyone,

We'll be in Panama for 5 days in April. We're going to see the Canal at the Miraflores locks on the first day (Sunday, in the afternoon so hopefully we'll be able to see some big boat passing through). The next day we're thinking of taking a Partial transit on the canal, is it something not to be missed? Or a visit to the Miraflores is enough sense?

We want to spend our times wisely since we don't have much time there. Also, planning to go to San Blas island and spend a night at Yandup hotel. What hold me back about this is the accomodation on the island. There's no TV, no running hot water, no AC which is ok for me but no electricity except from 5pm to 7pm? after that it's pitch dark...hmmm.... Not sure about this.

Any advices would be appreciated
