Apart from the scenery, this boat and Captain were a disaster! Do not go with this boat!
The Master Room - we booked this so we had our own bathroom. We had cockroaches crawling through our things, the room was falling to pieces and the toilet facilities were disgusting. There may have been a drainage problem and the smell coming from the bathroom was just awful, it smelt like sewerage. This room came with quite a large price tag!
Food - we were told when we met Captain Armin that the meals would be gourmet and all cooked by a chef. There was barely enough food to feed everyone. One night we got given one crepe for dinner (which we could add sugar, lime and a rum sauce to). When we asked for more food Armin said there was none and that night was 'Diet Night'. The next night we got given enough seafood to feed four people (there was 17 of us) and rotten salad. On this particular night the captain had bought several more lobster but kept them in a bucket for himself. We were quite hungry on several occasions.
Drinks - Captain Armin told us only to bring our own alcohol. All mixer drinks would be on the boat including soft drink, iced tea, juice. There was nothing. Water and a mix of water and lime! We had nothing to mix in with our alcohol so it was pointless bringing it.
Activities - Armin said there was kayaks, fishing rods and that he would take us out in the small boat whenever we needed. Again, nothing!
Passengers - we were told there would be 11 people on the boat. There was 17.
The whole experience on the boat was an absolute shambles. I would not recommend the Jacqueline to anyone!Edited: 6:31 pm, April 30, 2013
