Can anyone offer some advice for Panama itinerary Dec?

Hi there

Im off to Panama for the last 2 weeks of december with my boyfriend, and would LOVE some advice on our itinery.

We're looking for nice weather, beaches, and nice 'luxury' hotels (not going to be a 'slumming it' sort of holiday...)

Can anyone recommend nice beaches on the Pacific side?

I made a list of places I thought looked good, would be great to hear which people prefer, and if the weather will be nice then.

Obviously not trying to cram all these in... Just would like to know best places to go.

Thanks for any help you're able to offer!!

Rose

- Comarca De Kuna Yala

- isla barro colorado

Worth going for day trip?

- isla san jose

- Bocas del Toro

No 1 choice but im really worried about the weather as we're going last 2 weeks december...

- golfo de chiriqui

- Posada Cerro La Viega

- Parque Nacional Coiba

- Boquette

- Panama Rail Road

- Isla Grande

December begins our summer season. Summer lasts until April. You are going to need light clothing and a bathing suit!

How are you getting around? Are you renting a car? That will help in determining how much of what you have listed can you actually see. And of course, what do you really want to do when here.

Best,

Florence

Weather should be hot and dry for the most part. You will pray for clouds...

Last year it was still raining two days before Christmas - the locals said that was unusual, but be warned.

Do you guys mean it is dry carribean side?

I can see it is mainly dry Pacific side...

We're happy to do internal flights and hire a car.

ok with weather aside... would love to hear people's advice on this itinerary (its a 2 week holiday so definately not planning on doing all of this... would love to hear what people think is best)

- isla san jose

(pacific side)

(rainforest, pristine beach)

and / or close by:

Parque Nacional Coiba

THEN FLY TO DAVID, CHIRIQUI:

- golfo de chiriqui

(pacific islands)

___

THEN DRIVE TO:

Boquette -

... After reading more. Boquette seems really popular and a bit ex patty and maybe these mountain places are nicer?

- Santa Fe

- Posada Cerro La Viega

____

FLY TO FROM DAVID:

- Bocas del Toro

..Pending weather!!

FROM PANAMA COULD GO TO:

San Blas

- Comarca De Kuna Yala

OR MAYBE:

Around Pedasi

Azuero Coastline

Panama Rail Road

Isla Grande

Thank you
