100% I recommend you Driving through El Salvador, the roads are the best in Central America and you´ll enjoy your many unexpected beautiful places.
Be sure to make stops on the beaches, mountains and historic towns.
I'm sure you will not have any problem.
Enjoy your trip.....
We drove all over El Salvador and had no real issues. Things are not marked like in the states but as long as you pay attention and don't drive crazy you will be fine. We did experience some insane holes in the road in Guatemala though. Big enough to bend our rims and require it to be fixed. Luckily there are a bunch of tire shops along the way.
Hey Ken, did you do the drive? We left Laredo, TX a couple months ago and are getting ready to cross into El Salvador. Any suggestions?
Did you do that trip? Can you give feedback.
