Hi! The fastest way (and maybe the best one) to reach Elin Pelin is by rail. There are many trains daily which stop there (departing from the Sofia central railway station). The site is: http://bdz.bg/index-en.php

Type "Елин Пелин" (in cyrillic in case you can't find it in latin letters).

Hope it helps!

Elin Pelin is a nickname for femals in Scandinavia. My friends name is Elin, soo we have to go there!;)

I have a bulgerian friend who thinks its crazy to go there.... I wonder why? Isn´t it a small traditional town?

Crazy not, it's just that the town is not famous for anything - just a town in the metro area of Sofia.

I've never been there, but it looks nice on pictures:

BTW, Elin Pelin is the nickname of a very famous Bulgarian writer from the 19th-20th century. His birthplace was in a village close to this town.
