duty free prices alcohol.

Hi everyone.... has anyone been thru nadi duty free lately as i am trying to find out prices for beer and wine. We don't fancy paying resort prices every day for a late afternoon drink.

Any information would be greatly appreciated !!!

Thank you all.

You are better off buying your allowance of wine duty free. More choice in Australia. Remember you can take 4.5l of wine or champagne per person. You can buy beer at any main town. Tapoo Sigatoka also has carton beer. It is a lot cheaper to buy than the resorts. I paid $45.00FJ for a carton of Fii Gold in Nadi recently. A further note you cannot buy take away beer from Grog Shops on a Sunday.

Hope this helps. If you have any further questions just ask. Just got back from 2 weeks in Nadi and Naviti Resort Coral coast.

Hello there is a small duty free shop on the right hand side in the baggage area of the Nadi airport in Fiji however you would get a better choice in Sydney so much to choose from that being said at the moment the exchange difference and prices in fijian are very very cheap a lot cheaper than sydney so if you dont mind taking a punt then wait and get from fiji!

Hi there we are leaving from Sydney and we have been told the allowance is only 2.25ltr Per Person over 17 years of age. Is this correct or is it 4.5lt per person just seems alot to be able to take. We take bottled wine and put in luggage as so much cheaper than duty free stuff sometimes apart from spirits etc.

As a matter of interest, you can buy very drinkable wine in stores in Fiji for about $15 FJD a bottle. Cheers!!
