Daylight saving.

Daylight saving ceased today in Fiji. They are now one hour ahead of us (N.S.W time).

I can never understand them not continuing daylight saving until then end of the school holidays, would make more sense.

The end of their school holidays is today (school resumes tomorrow). Their school terms/year is different than Australia, I guess that's why their daylight savings is different too

4. Re: Daylight saving.

Someone on another forum wanted to know why the return to Sydney was listed as 6 + hours.

Jetstar had not accounted for daylight savings times / changes between the 2 countries.

While the arrival / departure times looked OK and the flight time was incorrect, it might pay to check the arrival / departure times to be sure.
