sheraton Denarau Villas

Hi we are a family of 5 wanting to holiday in fiji. Adults, 1 child (5), twins 17 mths old. We are really looking at Sheraton Denarau Villas. Im just wondering if it would be a good resort for the littles, they all say to stay in villas near pool. I was just wondering how close is pool? Im just worried door may be left open and we have a child runout. Any suggestions would be very helpful. tia

There is water everywhere... If it is not the pool it is the beach, if not the beach they have rather large ponds (with frogs, kids will love it!). The front door we had was very heavy and self closing. If you are worried about the back door you could stay on 2nd floor or just keep it locked. We stayed there with a just 2 year old and found the pool at the Sheraton (which villa guests can use too) more suitable anyway as they also had a little toddler wading pool there to play in with sand etc. There are a lot of options for guests here, if one thing does not work you could try another..which is what we liked about it. Be sure to book a baby sitter too, they are cheap and well worth the peace for the parents!! Especially for a nice meal out Enjoy!!

The main pool is a really large "U" shape, & some of the villas are quite close to it. However, there are plenty of rooms that do not front onto the pool, just open out to a lawn area. Its quite likely that the garden rooms are cheaper than the pool view rooms which would be great for you.
