weather December (diving with kids)

After my initial research, December is the rainy season with cyclones. Does it generally rain in the night or day? Is it severe? WE dive but would like to dive someplace calm, where do you recommend we reside our stay?

thanks-

Yes, December is the rainey season. You will experience downpours during the day which generally last for an hour or two. It is very hot and humid during this time of year. Yes, it is cyclone season.

In relation to your other question(s), you will need to provide a few more specifics for people to assist you, eg.

1. Other than diving, what do you want out of your holiday ie hiking, snorkelling, village trips, etc?

2. What is your budget and what sort of accommodation are you after?

3. Have you researched Fiji at all? Are you looking in a particular area of Fiji eg. Yasawa Islands, Taveuni, Savu Savu, etc?
