Sleeping accommodations in Lima

Can someone advise on the Bohemian area of Lima? I am looking for sleeping accommodations for a group of 6 (aged between 25-32). We want to be in the area where its all happening. Can someone recommend any area and/or hotel?

What's your budget, dr2137?

Based on your stated interests, sounds like you'll want to stay in Barranco or Miraflores.

Barranco is where the cool Lima crowd goes to hang out. Filled with great architecture (elegant even if a bit worn down), decent dining options, and tons of bars and lounges where you can catch live music on some nights. The Puente de los Suspiros has a small concentration of places to hang out with some beers at sunset.

Your other option is Miraflores, which is far less "bohemian" than Barranco, but bigger, more diverse, and where your options in hotels, restaurants, attractions, and nightlife multiply. These areas are adjacent so you can easily stay in one neighborhood and take a quick 8 minute taxi ride to the other.

You can search for Lima hotels on this website: tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g294316-Lima_Lima_Reg…

Tick off the boxes on the right bar to refine your search by neighborhood, availability, price, etc

Happy travels,
