What food to avoid?

I am from the US and will be in Cusco, Ollayantaytambo, and Machu Pichu Sept 3-11. What food should I avoid in order to not get sick?

We took normal precautions, but neither of us were ill at all. Think bottled water, don't overeat (especially at high altitudes), and just use general precaution. We had ceviche, we had fruits (that we peeled) from the markets. You can use caution, but don't be paranoid about it, because food poisoning is a remote risk anywhere.

You can eat everything, but don't eat too much at night when you're high in the mountains. Your digestion is slower so you can/will get sick if yo go to bed after eating. The local people eat lunch as their main meal as they can't eat too much at night either. That's far more important than where and what you eat....
