Calling Apunake

Has anyone tried calling Apunake recently? I booked plane tickets through them and have some questions but the number on their Web site goes to a recording that doesn't even identify itself as Apunake. I'm using 1800-790-2965. I've tried on several different days, different times and all I get is this recording. Anyone else have this problem?

Is there a local number? I found that toll free numbers on websites often go unanswered, not just at apunake or enjoyperu or whatever they are.

Also you might make sure you are calling on a weekday and during normal working hours in Lima (which means in the morning for the most part).

Hopefully you have an eticket number and can verify with the airlines that you really have a ticket.

I had no luck making contact with apunake this past December. At all. However there seem to be recent reports that they are currently in business, such as it is.

I also tried a phone number but it did not worked. However, e-mail works very well. I booked my tickets with them about 10 days ago. I had several e-mails back and forth with Ruben from Apunake. His reply was always within 20-30 minutes. Once e-ticket is issued, you really don't need to contact Apunake anymore. From that point you can deal with Lan directly.

What e-mail address did you use to get responses? I'm using the Apunake address that sent me my ticket confirmation and no one has responded. Thanks!

ruben@enjoyperu.com

or main one: info@apunake.com

Once you get e-tickets assigned, why do you need Apunake. Go to www.virtuallythere.com. or LAN site directly

I have been trying to get to their website for 2 days now and nothing is working. Every link I click just brings me to their home page. Has anyone had any luck with their website in the past few days. I can't even look at their flight schedules.

Are you using Internet Explorer? When I booked our tickets the site would only work using Internet Explorer (wouldn't work on Mozilla). Try that and see if it helps!

It has nothing to do with it. The website is down. Again.

Thanks for the info guys. I guess I'll just have to wait. Does anyone know a way around the LAN.com Peruvian credit card thing? Here's the deal. LAN airlines won't let me book directly through them because my Visa is not with a Peruvian bank and I'm not a Peruvian citizen. I could book through LAN directly as a US citizen, but the prices would triple.

Any way around this other than booking through Apunake.com?

Reserve yr flight and get a reservation number.

Then call the Lan phone mentioned on their site.

Select English for the operator.

Give her yr reservation number and pay with credit card.

You will be charged US$20 for paying over the phone.

Believe me, it does work with no problems.I have been recommending this over and over and many have responded to me saying that they were successful.
