I'm planning a trip to the Galápagos Islands and have the following questions. Best time to visit for smooth water conditions. We are not keen to be on a boat for a week and I know there are land based tours but these seem to include 2 hour, both ways speed boat trips. Is it possible to stay on one island, do some kayaking, walking etc, then travel to another island and stay there for a few more days to soak up the beauty and nature of the place. Family run good quality accommodation would be good to know too. Many thanks.
