Question regarding getting hooked-up to the internet in Quito.

Do any apartments/condo's have internet connection available.

If there is not a connection what is the easiest way to get

started. Which is the best IP company and how long does the

whole process takes. In case your are not too computer savvy,

is there any professional help available in Quito.

Thank you for taking the time in answering my questions.

we got our internet through the tv cable company, so it is highspeed cable. this was the fastest option available, costs about $50/month. If the previous tenant had internet they just plug you in, but if not, it's still no big deal. The company is called TV Cable (so original!), they have a desk near the food court at El Bosque mall where you can sign up for cable tv and internet. They come a few days later and how long the appt takes depends on how the apt was set up for the previous tenant, but really no big deal.
