Lincoln Jabra, Guide

My wife and I spent the holidays in Quito prior to our Galapagos cruise. The first day we did the city tour. First Lincoln responded to all of my emails in a timely manner. Lincoln responds to his own emails and thus remember he does have other tours. On the first day he was on time, we were not. In our experience most tour guides no matter how good are always a few minutes late. Lincoln is well knowledged concerning the sites and history of them. Our routing afforded traffic on the streets and the sites we visited. When we started the day he explained what he had planned for the day and we were able to make some changes based upon our likes. The second and third days we did the Quilotopa Loop. All of his recommendations were good ones from place to stay and places to eat.

Lincoln also went out of his way to help us get our lost luggage from the airport. As many of you know traveling from historic Quito to the airport is no easy matter.

My wife and I can with no doubt recommend Lincoln knowing you will get the best in service and for a very responsible price. lincolnjabra@hotmail.com

HD, it's highly unlikely Lincoln reads the forum. Why not contact him through the email address posted in the first message?

We used Lincoln as well for 3 days. Great guide, very knowledgable and trustworthy. Drove us to the banks, meals at great restaurants, any sights we wanted to see, and picked us up wherever, always on time.

We just spent the day today with Lincoln as our guide from Quito to the Otavalo markets, Peguche waterfall and Cotacachi area. I am so thankful to these forums for recommending him. He is a fabulous guide and lovely man, speaks completely fluent English and very knowledgeable and informative about the environment, culture, history, economy, geographic features, politics, you name it. Very personable and a wonderful family man and is familiar with most of Ecuador having grown up and lived in a number of areas in the country. His Toyota suv was very comfortable. He promptly replies to emails and was waiting for us at the agreed time. We are looking forward to spending another day touring with him in a couple of weeks when we return to the Quito area.

Sorry, Lincoln, but you cannot advertise or promote your business on TA. Your posts will probably be removed. Your name and contact info are already posted on a list of private guides under the Top Questions on the Ecuador forum page.

A fantastic driver/guide who made our journey with him one of the highlights of our trip to Ecuador. We thoroughly recommend Lincoln. He is punctual, a safe driver, very informative and great fun to be with. He goes above and beyond to make your time with him very interesting and enjoyable. Lincoln was flexible and always offering great travel suggestions. We spent 4 days with him travelling from Banos to the Quilotoa loop, then onto Cotopaxi National Park. We spent our last couple of days at a wonderful holistic hotel, Sacha Ji, close to Otavalo. He doesn't just offer driving services but guided hikes and bike rides. On our last morning in Ecuador we even managed to squeeze in a walk up the volcano near Lake Mojanda.

If you need a guide/driver look no further and book Lincoln, you will have a great time.
