where to stay?

Flying in and plan to stay 2 days in Santiago before HA cruise in March, any suggestions of where we should stay, to see the sights on a hop on hop off bus , to get from airport to hotel, and from hotel to San Antonio cruise port.

Thanks

Bellas Artes/Lastarria is better than Providencia. It allows you to walk to most places, has an excellent selection of cafes and restuarants, on the rout of the hop on hop off bus and is fun just to walk around.

Hello 12 soup-er....prices at Lastarria Neighborhood depends on the time of the Year,,,from December to March are expensive for high demand,,,,many cruises are coming, For USD 100 you can find Apartments 43-61 at Lastarria Street,,,,Casanoble Hotel Boutique,,,,,,,During the year in low season,,,,the Altiplanico Bellas Artes or Cumbres Lastarria could be a good option. Best regards,,,Arturo

I've stayed at Hostel Rio Amazonas several times and again next year.

It's a nice B&B centrally located near Argentinan Embassy

Easy to walk to places
