Huerquehue Nat Park Los Lagos trail

We will have a mid sized passenger car.

What are the road conditions from Pucon to Lago Tinquilco and the Los lagos trailhead?

How long does it take to drive this road?

On the Los Lagos trail do you hike into solid stands of Araucaria Monkey puzzle trees?

Are there moderately priced hotels/cabins at Lago Tinqquilco?

there were some bumpy parts on the last part of the road, as you do the switchbacks heading up to the park

it's not far or long from Pucon but I can't remember the exact amount of time. probably easy to find by searching online. (an hour and a bit?)

as you reach the higher parts of the trail, you walk through solid stands of Araucaria, including a beautiful piece of trail along the lagoons.

they had some great kuchen and it's very friendly

reasonable prices

We just did the road and it really requires a high clearance vehicle. Some bits are very bad. We went the day after heavy rain which did not help.
