Just go to a TIM store and you can purchase what you want. Only $R10 for a sim (chip) card in Brazil. Then you can purchase $ mount of prepaid credits. Calls to another Tim user are 25 cents, 50 cents a day for texting. Do not remember the charge for internet. All of the shopping malls will have a TIM Store. quick and easy. Bring your passport.

For tourists, I think TIM chip is the best now, because it has INTERNET for R$ 0.50 a day and R$ 0,60 for a local fixed line call, too.

Cheers!

Is there a place in Sao Paulo airport (GRU) to buy one while waiting to transfer from an international to a domestic flight?
