A few questions on the Cheese and Chocolate Bar at MBS

Thank you to all the posters on this forum. It's made our planning for our upcoming trip so much easier! We're considering the Cheese and Chocolate Bar, but a few things that aren't clear on the website or forum. Do you also need to purchase the entrance to Skypark or is it included in the $48? Or don't you need the Skypark ticket to get to the bar? How far in advance do you need to book? We have some flexibility and want to go when the weather/views will be best. Is there a time limit to the booking or can you stay as long as you like? We've booked a Club Room at the Marina Mandarin and anticipate(hopefully!) the views from the lounge will be good - is doing the Skypark, as well, overkill or will it give a much better perspective, Obviously it will be much higher.

If you have reservation you don't have to buy separate entrance ticket. You can stay as long as you want.. until closure. Marina Mandarin does not have that pool. You may want to take a peek. Pretty views at night from the skypark. Chocolate bar is kind of so-so IMO its more for the ambience and the views..

lassie18, hi

1/ if you have a valid booking with Chocolate Bar you DO NOT HAVE to pay entrance fee in Sky Park.

2/ Booking a day or two in advance is totally OK

3/ YOU can you stay as long as you like within the hours of the operation.

The only ticket you can buy is the one to the observation deck - the pointy bit at the end that sticks out of the buildings. This has the best view, the glass barriers go right to the edge, you can look right down and see the water and the bay, the Wonderful laser show etc.

A booking at the Cheese buffet gets you to the SkyPark with the trees. The view here are good too but they are more skyline views as you are some distance from the edge. Booking the Cheese buffet won't get you to the Observation deck.

You can go to the observation deck. There is a side door near the skypark that you can pass thru'. Unless they have blocked it..
