Costing for 3 full days in Singapore January 2014

With accommodation and airport transfers already paid for and not including souvenirs, how much money in AUD would be needed for meals, transport, visiting Zoo, bird park, and other sites around the Marina Bay Area, Skypark, excluding Sentosa Island. No expensive drinks, just mainstream meals and drinks. Just a rough idea would be helpful.

If you have breakfast included in your hotel that will help a lot with your meal costs. The amount you need for meals really just varies with where you want to eat and how much you want to eat. There are food courts at all of the shopping centres which seem to h ave quite reasonable prices.

Use the MRT for transport as much as possible. Most trips area around $1.50-$2.00.

Walking around in Singapore is easy too. Even getting to Sentosa Island is $4.00 per person return by the mono rail, more expensive if you want to use the chair lift.

We have just spent 5 days in Singapore and not spent much at all. Just checkout the entrance costs before you go and this will help your budget.

if u plan to go to the zoo amd bird park get the 2-in-1 park hopper ticket, that will give u about 20% discount that buying separate ticket.. its avalid for a month.. u can buy online or at the gate..

zoo.com.sg/visitor-info/park-hopper-specials…

MBS observation deck is $20. If u eat at hawker centres or food court typically cost about $5 to $7 pp including soft drink. A typical buffet lunch or dinner at hotel restaurant cost about $50 to $80 ++ pp.

Typically, just budget Urself S$100 per day (Include 2 Attraction & meals in btw + Transport)

If U transport everywhere in City via the MRT & Long distance Like Zoo, Birdpark etc using Taxi....

Ur $$ can stretch :D

If there is a day U decide to treat urself a Nice Meal, Budget that day S$250 is good enuff.......Just that day :D......

This is a Good Map where they have various Transport Mode (Click on Icon) where they list the fare for each type of Transport mode taken + the route U can take.

Anywhere in the City MRT Line, Look under Top Questions About Singapore (Top Right corner):

Visiting > What to see/do - Free or Low Cost (under Sgd$5 per person)

Visiting > What to see/do in Singapore (Attractions around Circle Line MRT Station)

===> U can stretch the $$ here & Travel smart too :D

Happy Holiday
