Supermarkets close to airport

Hi,

I'll be arriving in Singapore mid afternoon and departing to bintan from the ferry terminal (which I understand is 10 mins away) 3 hours later, is there a supermarket where we can stock up on products near the airport or ferry terminal?

Much appreciated.

Hi Ikat,

There's a NTUC Supermarket each at the basement of both Terminals of the airport.

You should be able to get most of what you want there.

Have fun! ;)

U can also take the MRT to Bedok station and check out the Bigger NTUC & Giant Hypermarket, which have more variety, like more fresh fruit & such & there is the Food centre with lots of local delight (Like my favourite fried carrot cake - Facing carpark, corner stall). Else, the 2 supermarket at both Terminal would be sufficient for the basic.

btw, there is a place to buy some basic necessities in Bintan (tooth paste etc) in the village though it looks like things were sitting on the shelves for a while (dust). Also, in SIN, u will find brand u recognize so I would just buy most of the NTUC. But for fresh fruits and such, u can easily get them in the village.
