3d2n, what to do

We are husband and wife, 52 & 60, and 21 yr old daughter. We arrive from Ho Chi Minh City at 3pm

We thought:

The day we arrive, go to night safari

The following day do universal studios and aquarium

Then the last day (we fly out later in the evening) go to the zoo

A couple of questions,

Is this do-able

What is there to do on Sentosa in the evening

Any suggestions.

Thanks in advance

Hi ChrisMarty,

Yes, your plan is doable. Although, imo, its too animal overload. You are short of the Bird Park. But it's ok if that is what you want.

How about a change of scenery? Make your way to Marina Bay after your day at Sentosa. Have a nice evening stroll around the Bay and take in the city skyline. Have dinner at one of the hawker centres around the Bay.

Just my thoughts. Hope this helps.....

Hi again,

Very close, walking distance. From your hotel, you can walk down Parliament Place to get to Fullerton and you will reach Merlion Park. Along the way you will see the Padang, the Supreme Court Building, old Supreme Court Building (under refurbishment to become an Art Museum), the Victoria Memorial Hall (under refurbishment) and the Singapore Cricket Club. The Merlion Park is at the Bay and you can walk around the Bay and pass by The Esplanade Theatre By The Bay, the Helix Bridge, the Marina Bay Sands Complex and go up the skypark, the Singapore Flyer, and if you are not too tired you can even crossover to the Gardens By The Bay.

For dinner, there is the Gluttons Bay beside the Esplanade, the Food Trail at the Singapore Flyer, Satay By the Bay at the Gardens and Rasapura Foodcourt at MBS all serving local fares.

Alternatively, you my want to walk the other way from your hotel. Instead of towards the Bay, you may want to walk down Hill Street to get to Clarke Quay, the premier nightlife centre here. You can have dinner here. May be Chili Crab at Jumbo? You may even take a cruise down the Singapore River where you can enjoy the sights of Marina Bay from the water.

Enjoy!
