Universal Studios and an express pass

We are visiting Singapore as a family of four (kids aged 9 and 12) from Jan 9th - 14th. We would like to visit Universal Studios and are wondering whether to buy our tickets online from Australia and whether or not it is worth adding the Express pass. Many recent reviews say it is worth the extra money to avoid the long lines. It seems that USS has been very busy over Christmas, does anyone know if it will quieten down when the Christmas period it over.

Any advice would be most appreciated. Many thanks.

U can buy the Express Pass separately inside (There are kiosk going around the park for U to purchase) if U think U need it......Dun have to buy together.

Since U are not coming during the School Holiday Or Pre Chinese New Year (31 Jan 2014), U should be fine without one.

U can check the Parade Show Schedule to decide which day U want to visit the Park:

U can compare the Price with the Package Price in this Reputable company below & see if there is any different (Scroll down the page)

We went on the Friday before Xmas at opening time. Longest queue the whole day was 20min on our second go on Transformers around 3 PM. Most queues were 5 min or less. I honk it will be quieter still when you go.

Never buy express passes before entering the park and seeing how busy it is, you can buy them if needed at and of the retail shops at the end of the bigger rides.

Best tip I can give is get there at 9.50 and head straight to Transformers and then onto the Mummy ride, don't spend time looking around the Hollywood and New York zones that you have to walk through first. You can do that later when you completed the anticlockwise circuit.

Thank you for your replies. I think we will wait until we arrive and then decide if we need the express pass. Hopefully we won't! Thanks again.
