Lau ba sat renovation

Hello, I will travel to SG in 11/6, would like to have dinner at Lau Ba Sat on the same day. But I've heard that LBS is on renovation right now, wondering how long would it last? If LBS is still under renovation in 11/6, where could I go to grab traditional SG food? (P.S. will visit super tree garden by the bay before dinner)

It's expected to Re-open by December 2013 (End Nov 2013 most likely)

Hello, if you are looking for a place to eat local foods after visiting Gardens by the Bay you may consider Satays by the Bay; It is a hawker center by the water behind the Cloud Forest Conservatory. Reasonable choice of stalls including a few selling satays.

Another popular place nearby is Gluttons Bay next Esplanades.
