Just wondering how much more expensive is Boracay from the other Islands in Philippines,if any..I had a look and accommodation pricing seems on par with the other Islands,so what is more expensive? Food, drinks?

You can dine on all kinds of budgets. If you are dining on a budget do a forum search as there have been many threads on this.

You can find cheap food and drinks in Boracay. It's not like the entire island is expensive. Same with accommodations.
Not sure when it comes to water activities like jet ski rental, parasailing and stuff because I know you these kinds of activities are limited when you visit Palawan or Bohol. Price would roughly be the same -- not cheap.
Boracay is not as expensive as many people think. Especially if you know your way around, prices are pretty reasonable and LOW compared to western standards.
You can spend as much as you want, Boracay accommodates both the big budget and small budget traveller.
And to add to that I was very surprised then when I was going to Bulalacao in Mindoro for example (a non touristy area north of Boracay). The prices were higher!
I mean island hopping was 3500 for 2 persons! And the food and accommodation wasn't cheap either.
You'd think it would be way cheaper since you're in some town in the middle of nowhere with like 3 tourists in the whole town. You'think they'd price things accordingly, but no.
Also when I went to Cebu, things were more expensive for me as a tourist there. Maybe if you're a local it's not, but for me as a tourist it definitely was.
For sure when I first came as a tourist to Boracay it was a lot easier to find affordable prices then in those 2 places.
Just my 2 cents...
Edited: 5 years agoI think Boracay is cheaper than most tourist spots in the Philippines and has more options to stay away from the high priced places. All depends on how flexible or rigid you are as a traveler with where you stay, eat, drink or SHINE.
