Plenty of buses going to Caticlan at the Tagbak terminal in Jaro, Iloilo.

Airport Taxi to Tagbak terminal in Jaro is P500. The airport is really far out of town in Iloilo. You might want to take a Van to SM City mall P70/person, then a jeepney to Tagbak P10/person. If you are stuck in Iloilo overnight the HWY21 hotel next to the Iloilo River was nice at P1100. The hotel is a short taxi ride from SM City Mall or a P8 direct "City Proper" Jeepney Ride. The bus at Tagbak is only P350 AC to Caticlan Pier. Tagbak to Iloilo is a slow crowed ride (30 min).

On your return to Iloilo, you can get a return taxi (4.5 hours) at the Caticlan Pier for only P350/person to Iloilo. They drop off people from Iloilo who pay P1500 and they need gas money to get home so they discount their rates. The seat tax out of Iloilo Airport is P200 like Manila.

The OP from Bacolod will be coming from the seaport . From the pier, taxi fare to Tagbak terminal is about Php120-150.

Like in Bacolod, there are many pension houses and hotels in Iloilo City and some of them are located near the pier.

As of 01Mar2013 If taking Van (other option is Bus or rent taxi)

Iloilo Airport Shuttle to SM City Mall P50/Pax (P70 return)

SM City Mall Jeepney to Bus Station (Tagbac terminal) P10/Pax or option P100 Taxi. 15min trip airport to mall

Van P350/Pax Bus Station to Caticlan Pier to Boracay

4.5 hour mourning and 5 hour afternoon. Bus takes 6 hours due to stops. Vans line up across from bus station at gas station. First Van leaves at 2am from Iloilo bus station.

Caticlan Pier Boat to Boracay P100+P75+P25/Pax (P125 return)

Taxi Iloilo Airport to (Tagbac terminal Bus Station) P350/four or five people

Return trip pick up Van at Caticlan Pier (left side) and it will bring you directly to SM City Mall or Ilioilo Pier. If you take a bus, you have to get your your own transportation into the city from the bus station (Tagbac terminal) far out of town.
