July Weather in Boracay?

we're arriving in MNL 1st week of July and going straight to Boracay. my Dad told me that weather is bad at that time and I should just go to Palawan or Puerto Galera...

any thoughts on this?

Boracay is central Visayas. It doesn't get the same bad weather as in the north.

Go ahead with your plans but be sure to have a travel insurance just in case there are flight interruptions or delays because the weather is bad either in Manila or Boracay.

In the past, July is wet but the weather in the Philippines is erratic lately. Expect big waves along the main beach

tick off puerto galera unless you are going for booze, drugs and sex, besides the waves on your way to PGalera could be a roller coaster ride.

If the weather is bad on Boracay its most likely bad in Puerto Galera and in Palawan!

Puerta Galera is more of a sleaze destination than Boracay.
