El Nido or Boracay?

Hey everyone,

My wife and I will be at the phillipins from December 17 to January 3rd.

We will start in north Luzon, and like to get to

El Nido OR Boracay later.

I think Boracay will be over crauded this time of year, but my wife still like to try.

What do you think?

Depends what you are really looking for in a holiday.

Boracay is busy offers lots of nightlife, and dining choices and is very touristy.

El Nido offers stunning scenery and is more laid back and pristine and less touristy.

Boracay is famous for white beach unfortunately the whole world has turned up to see it(that's what it feel like), its lost that desert island appeal. Great bars and tons of places to eat but with all that be prepared for the touts!!!, there are some quiet spots but not many,,,,never been to El Nido so can't comment but its on my list...if you go to Boracay I can recommend Nigi Nigi Too as a place to stay quiet part of the beach great food and very friendly staff.
