Bohol, Palaway and Boracay in 2 weeks?

Does it seem too ambitious to visit Boracay, Bohol and Palawan in two weeks? Probably El Nido won't be practical as it's far from the airport and travel is slow in Palawan. Are they different enough to warrant staying in all three?

We're flying into Manila but don't really want to stay there as time's limited. (I can't find budget flights from Shanghai to Cebu.) Would we need to fly between them all and if so in which order would work best?

We're looking for beautiful scenery, beaches, diving/snorkelling, natural sights, good food and access to lively evenings for at least most of the time.

If it is me, I would say it can be done.

To be fair, I travel at the speed of zoom; if you get what I mean.

This is what I would do.

MNL-TAG - 3 days

After which I will take a ferry to Cebu and take the CEB-PPS flight. - 1 day

PPS - El Nido by RORO bus. 1 - day

El Nido - 3 days

El Nido -PPS - 1 day

PPS-MNL-MPH 1 day

Boracay - 3 days

MPH-MNL - 1 day

Can be done but very tight and little room for error.

MNL-Coron (Busuanga)-MNL.

MNL-Boracay-Cebu-Bohol-MNL.

Couldn't edit "Palawan" in title!

It probably does sound too much for us as we like lots of relaxing! Is TAG Tagatay in Manila?

Is the ferry to Cebu pleasant enough to be enjoyed as a day's holiday and should we take the ferry or the superferry. Is it cheaper/easier than flying?

Will we feel we've missed out if we go to Coron rather than El Nido?

TAG is Tagbilaran in Bohol.

Ferry is a short ride an hour an a half or so and if possible take the Supercat, a fast ferry. Not Superferry.

It depends what you like. Both El Nido and Coron are lovely. If you can do both, go for it. If you are a diver, Coron. El Nido is more island hopping and snorkelling.

It can be done but it's a lot of running around in only two weeks. Boracay will give you the lively nightlife scene. Palawan will not, but the scenery is amazing.

I mean the journey from Manila - Cebu/Bohol. Should we fly or take a ferry?

I'd quite like to end the trip with relaxing in Boracay so are we best to go:

Manila/Cebu/Bohol/Coron/Boracay/Manila or Manila/Coron/Cebu/Bohol/Boracay/Manila?!

Sorry I'm such a novice and need all this spelling out!

You fly! Ferry will take days!

My suggestion is MNL-TAG-CEBU-Coron-MNL-Boracay-MNL.

How does this itinerary sound as it avoids returning to Manila. Maybe we need to spend time in Cebu? I'm disappointed but I think El Nido is going to be too much of a trek as there's no flights.

Manila (1 night) fly to

Coron or Puerta Princesa, Palawan (3 nights), fly to

Cebu, ferry to

Bohol (5 nights), ferry to

Cebu, fly to

Boracay (Caticlan or Kalibo) (5 nights), fly to

Manila or Shanghai (1 night depending on flight schedules)

Is this a reasonable introduction to the Philippines or are we missing a major highlight! I hope to see wildlife both sea and land based.

Your plan should be fine just remember certain flights only happen once a day or even only a few times within a week.

So make sure you plan coincide with the flight you wanted.

Thanks for all the help. It will take careful planning. I'm sure I'll have more questions along the way.
