It is my first time to book via AirBnB. I still have to apply for a Visa to Japan. Do I just have to write the address of the place in my itinerary?
Actually i have the same condition, since the airbnb did not have any building name. What i will do is printing out the confirmation from airbnb host and attached it for japan visa officer. Hopefully they will allow it.
A lot of people say that renting thru Airbnb is illegal in some areas in Japan, so I don't know if that would be good or bad.
You can always book a hotel that has free cancelation policy as well.
You will need an address for visa. Airbnb is amazing in Japan so dont worry about booking through them.
Just write down the address of the place you are staying at. They just need an address of where you can be contacted and they don't know if it is with a friend, family, Airbnb, etc. My last trip I stayed at 4 different places during my 2 weeks and just listed 1 address.
Just write the address of where you are staying. They don't need to know it is AirBnB, you could be staying with a friend for all they know.Edited: 11:30 pm, April 12, 2016
