in bali and have social visa want to visit jogja do i need my passport to fly from bali to here ?

If you mean, do you pass customs and/or passport control: no. Bali and Yogyakarta are in the same country, Indonesia.

But... as a foreigner in any country you must be able at any time to prove that you are there legally. In other words, you sould carry your passport with you always.

There will be no immigration procedure on domestic flight between Bali and Yogyakarta. However, passport is definitely needed as identification of foreigner whenever you buy air tickets or general purposes and you should carry one with you at all times.
