Brunei worth visiting on way to Sabah?

My family...myself,hubby & 2 uni student daughters are planning to go to Borneo for 10 days this july.We were planning to spend a week in a resort & do day trips from there but were wondering is it worth popping in to have a look at Brunei for a couple of days first. We have 10 days in total for our holiday.Any ideas would be great....thanks!

Brunei offer cheap disney land equivalent attraction:Jurutong Park but with limited operating hours and basic welcoming masque

Cost of living is extremely expensive ,hotel, taxi, food cos all imported.

Practically no night life.OK to pop in to have a feel of it

Borneo is much more interesting.

Yes brunei is worth a visit.

There are hotels u can stay at which wont break the bank-$100 AUD-theres the palace to see, some beautiful mosques, a fantastic water village first discovered by marco polo in his ventures south-wild jungles and probiscus monkeys plus lots more.

3 dyas would suffice and you can fly direct to sydney on the way home too!

Sarawak has many attractions to offer. If you stop by in kuching (the state capital), you can plan to explore the beaches (Damai beach) or if you prefer more adventure, try the national parks not far from kuching.

In other part of sarawak, you may also check out other natural wonder ie Gunung Mulu National park which has the world famous limestone.
