Cruise ship docking at Benoa

We are docking at Benoa in February just for the day and wondered if anyone had any ideas

of a day out....somewhere scenic or even nice beach (Not Kuta)....Ubud is recommended but

think I would need to do a private tour. Any suggestions please?

There is a multitude of things you can do in a day. Why not contact one of the drivers on the list and discuss options with them - there are so many things you might like to do?

Alternatively, you could just get a cab to Geger Beach - about 10 minutes away. You can hire beach chairs and there are plenty of food outlets and massages available. If you go the Nusa Dua Beach hotel for lunch I do know they will let you use their facilities, pool etc.

There are plenty of places to sit on the beach and relax. Personally I find Finns Beach very overpriced. If you want to see some of Bali then yes organise a driver for the day and do a tour that includes culture and sightseeing. You can see a lot in the few hours you are docked and then relax back on the boat. The driver we use Kadek, balipersonaldriver.com would help you, as would the other drivers who do these tours regularly. A full day is cheap ( around$60) and includes car, petrol and driver. Then you have someone who can tailor a tour to see the things you like, who will accompany you and teach you something about Bali.
