1st time in bali

We are thinking of going somewhere different next year. In the past 5 years we have been to Thailand (3 times) Malaysia & Barbados.

So we thought maybe we could give Bali a go with maybe a stopover in Singapore. We like a quiet beach hotel not to big but with good ammenites also not to far from good restaurants (approx 15-20 mins ride) Our budget is approx 120 USD a night

Can anybody let us know where we should look at.

Thanks

Niksoma on Legian Beach is US$ 100.00 for the standard and US$ 125.00 for the deluxe. Good location for restaurant options ( walking distance ) and recently renovated.

Further out is Seminyak Resort for US$ 90.00 standard and US$ 110.00 deluxe, is bigger but quieter and not that close to middle range restaurants ( 15 minutes rides ). The restaurants close to this hotel are the expensive ones ( Ku De Ta, La Lucciola, The Living Room )

These are the best location, unless you are thinking of snorkelling and diving, then the East Coast is better for you.

Hope this helps
