All personal, but I would advise to stay in some different areas on Bali and do daytrips from there.
Depending on your interest of course, but we like to stay in totally different landscapes. After three weeks you will have the feeling to have enjoyed several mini-holidays in one. Bali has soooo much to offer!
Ubud for ricefieldwalks, cyling tours, cookings classes, dance shows, spa, markets, monkey forest, musea, etc.
Lovina for spotting dolphins, Banjar Hotsprings, Buddhist monastry etc.
Going around is very easy, drivers everywhere and also hotels offer transport.
If you know in which areas you want to stay, you can use Tripadvisor to search for accommodations. Just fill in the place you want to go , your budget (on the left of the page), I always choose high rankings, and don't only look at the hotels, but also at the B&B, Specialty lodgings etc.
I always enjoy reading reviews and searching for hiddem gems to stay!
Wish you a pleasant trip!
