DLWT,

no age group, likes, dislikes etc in your profile, so hard to advice specifically,

presume 20-30yrs bracket, active,

consider a one day rafting at Ubud, can be arranged in most hotels, tour places or thru most good drivers and good value for money,

or a day tour around Ubud and stop somewhere nice for lunch, and maybe make the trip there and back something by choosing somewhere else on way there or back.

Book a 1, or 2 hr massage/spa at Body Works (has 2 stores - BW1 or 2), at northern end of Legian Jl, the hotel will get the number for you - again most good drivers will be able to help,

closer to you is Green Garden spa (towards Bali Hai hotel, abt 2km to the right when you come out the front of Santika), not bad either, not as good as body works though.

Get a driver to pic you up at abt 11am, go to Dreamland, stay there, swim, tan, rest/recover from the night before, massage, walk the beach (only 10-15 min away from you and driver will wait for you) then go to the bar/restaurant at top of the hill, you can't miss it, just for pics/view, then Garuda Wishna Park on way back, maybe driver around Ullawatu, Jimbaran Bay area on way home,

that only leaves a couple of day to laze around.

Plenty of great restaurants to chhose from - one night (Fri/sat) go to Ku de tah abt 5.30, casual/neat, for the sunset, take camera, sometimes gets a good crowd there, have a few drinks, tapas, then either eat there ( 5 star, so expensive by Bali standards) or walk/ taxi up the road to Rumours, it gets a good crowd on w/ends so go early, free pool table, nice food,

Closer to you - try Kubuku in Poppies Lane 1, abt 300m in from McDonalds on the beach, cheap, good food, a good happy hour 7-9pm, cheap drinks, or Un's 3-4 star in lane to Poppies 1 off Pantai Kuta not far from Bemo cnr, you'll find it,

or Nero's on Legian Jl, abt 300m north of Memorial, or Kori, in Poppies 2, (3-4 star)

others La Luciola , Fabio's both dearish but v nice.

or take a taxi to Dhyana Pura Jl, and pic a place there, start at Sante Fe and mossy around.

So much to do, so little time.

Cheers

hi Mark,

Tks for your reply! yr assumptions are quite accurate though..we are both late 20s n sporty type..not really into e cultural shows n stuff so rafting, massage, gd food, pubbing is a great way 2 spend 5 days in Bali.

Btw, you know of any places in Bali where we can dance Salsa? Cos both of us r into dancing..esp salsa, bachata n rueda..

Cheers

Don
