Hong Kong - Macau and maybe Shenzen and Guangzou

Hello,

Hope someone can help. Im off to Hong Kong in April with my wife to be for our honeymoon. I am thinking of doing daytrips to Macau and maybe across the border to Shenzen and Guangzou which I believe are close.

Can anyone give any advice on these trips and the easiset way to do them. I am particularly interested in where to book and whether it is better to this before we go.

Any information would be gratefully accepted. We will be based in Tsim Tsa Tshui if that helps.

Thanks in advance.

1. Shenzhen is 40 minutes by train from HK, 3-4 hours by bus from Macau.

2. HK -> Macau from Tsim Sha Tsui, look at ferry schedule and fare:

3. Macau to Guangzhou, for British passpost holder, you need to get a visa in advance, then check the Macau CTS for bus schedule and fare.
