Help Please Watches with Chinese numerals

I bought a nice but cheap watch whilst recently in HK with chinese numerals instead of roman.Brown strap ,goldish/brown face. I got it one of the markets.My friend would love to have one and I wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction for getting another one.I think wwas about GBP3.00.Any ideas /websites/shops gratefully received.Thanks in advancePs i have scoured ebay with no luckBB

Try the Ladies' Market in Mongkok. I remember seeing some stalls selling similar items the last time I was there.

It sounds like an inexpensive quartz watch. 3 GBP ~ HKD $35 a watch.

They sell those in many street-stall based markets. Ladies Market as dinomandy mentioned in #1. Or Temple Street night market. Or Li Yuen Street East/West in Central. Or maybe Jardine's Bazaar in Causeway Bay. Ap Liu Street in Shamshupo (definitely, as I bought a few from there). Whether you can find the one like yours with Chinese numerals is a different story. :)

Have seen Fossil having one.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I did get in the Ladies market but am now back in the UK wishing I'd bought two! There are lots of HK based watch sellers on ebay and I was rather hoping one of them might read this page.The manufacturer is YaLisi-but no web page available..The lettering does not look like Kanji.BB

quinn m; Hi,I'm surprised you couldn't find any as I saw loads not only in HK but also Shanghai.I have sent some photos to a watch seller in HK,so I'm hoping he might come back with some news.Will let you know if I hear anything.

quinn m;After searhing everywhere I tried again on ebay(uk) and under the search 'Chinese watches' there they were at GBP4.99 each and postng GBP3.99(same postage cost for US as UK).Hooray search over and I hope for you too.Let me know if any probs as there is an email address given which I can send you as a pm Good luck Nancy
