Massage Parlours

Are massages cheap in Hong Kong? How much do they typically cost in the Kowloon or Wan chai areas? Is it legal?

I don't have an answer for you but imagine the pricing would depend on what you are looking for. Full service or just a rub and tug?

I can volunteer the esteemable Mrs B together with her Wellington Boots (great if you have a rubber fetish).

As to cost, well she has been known to be most accommodating after a second glass of full bloodied claret - and i would just ask for a nominal booking fee

There are tons of massage parlours in HK (both legit and not). The ones I went to were about HK$500 and you're free to use the sauna facilities before/after your 1 hr massage.

The front desk will usually ask if you would like to give a HK$100 tip to your masseuse when you pay at the end.

Looks like Mrs B's talents are not required then. Never mind, I will tell her to put the whips and chains back in the cupboard

You can get legit massage by old blind blokes down by the marina opposite the Excelsior. Heard mixed reviews tho. It seems a bit spartan if cheap. And no extras.

Sorry GS, but I will not resort to drastic measures such as poking Mrs B's eyes out. Now if there was a option to remove her tongue, that my be worth while considering !

Ah ... I thought they were blokes only. Unless Mrs B is a bloke - or you have a different definition of bloke up there. It's times like this I'm glad to use a nom de guerre. Mrs GS would laugh herself silly at some of this massage stuff. Seriously tho. the blind 'people' have a rep. for robustness, let's say. Couple of friends claim it hurt. Which isn't the aim of any but the most specialised massage. You should worry more that she has the upper body strength in this case.:-)
