Planning our trip for the fall...do we need to be concerned about the air quality and our health?

I think living in NY is more of an health hazard then visiting Beijing for a few days.

Although lower pollution levels, you will be in it day in day out. Especially in the rush hour periods, NY will also have pretty high peaks.

We went to Beijing with air quality charts showing very poor results: 200-300.

I was concerned about my son who has asthma so I had all meds with me but, with our 1 week stay, there were no attacks. You wouldnt really notice it -- unless you look up :D
