6 hours in the middle of the night at PEK

We arrive on April 18th at 00:15 and depart at 7:50 on April 18th. Originally planned on the airport hourly lounge but we arrive T3 and cannot use that lounge as we arrive/depart on local flights not international. The price is a bit outrageous as well. Any ideas on what to do? Afraid that hotel shuttles won't run that time of night.

All of PEK's terminals 1, 2, and 3 have hourly lounges (mini hotels) on the FRONT SIDE = nonsecure side. The only one you can't use is the one in T3-E Intl departures. Doesn't seem to be a way to reserve these front-side lounges online, though they do have phone numbers if you have a Chinese speaker who can call. They used to not take reservations but do walk-up only. If one lounge is full up, they can call over to the other terminals to see if there's space available. Rates may be on the high side but you'd maximize your rest time and minimize your transfer hassles.

The better hotels next to the airport such as the Hilton and the Langham Place have complimentary shuttles that should be on call to pick up 24/7, for guests who have reservations. But these are quite pricey for only a few hours' stay. I personally would suck it up and not leave the airport, even if I had to pitch camp and find some lounge chairs. Also try

The only one you cant use is T3E because it is for international departure.

If you use the other lounge at T3 it is okay for domestic departures. http://en-shopping.bcia.com.cn/store/845.html Disregard where it says Terminal 2, its a glitch in their writing.

There are paying lounges at each terminal for domestic passengers.

The cost of leaving the airport and staying elsewhere is going to be more than staying at one of the Pay lounges.
