Driver to the Badaling, Great Wall

I have read many postings here and they claimed they used drivers to go to the great wall. Can anyone give me the contact number for the driver?

Can anyone tell me how much it roughly costs to hire a driver for a day?

Thanks.

I speak mandarin so a Englsih speaking taxi driver is not necessary.

Since you speak Mandarin, you will get the best deal hiring a regular cab.

The cost will depend on which section of the wall you want to go to and total length of your trip.

We hired a driver in November to take us to Badaling, wait for two hours, and drive us back for $300Y. He extremely pleasent and didn't even ask for the road tolls. He seemed to be very happy with the arrangement.

I will be going with a group of six in June and will attempt to make a similar arrangement with a van for this trip.

Have a GREAT time!

A round-trip from Beijing city to Badaling Great Wall should be no more than 200 RMB.

RMB 200. Is that all? I called a driver who quoted me RMB 480 for 8 hours, including toll etc.

Is this too expensive?

Do you have any contact?

Thanks.

We just asked a cab driver the day before, and he picked us the following day. $50.00 us dollar. He took us to Great wall, Ming Tomb, Aviation Museum, and we stopped to eat. All day. Of course we left him a nice tip. Good Luck

Did you book him by the number of hours? Did you already tell him that you were covering these places?

The price, which is about, RMB 400 seemed reasonable for the number of places you covered.
