Simplified and Traditional Chinese?

I've studied Mandarin (with Traditional Chinese characters) for a few years. I have a very difficult time deciphering the simplified chinese characters. Can anyone recommend an online or offline resource which gives a "crash course" in simplified Chinese if you already know some traditional characters? This would go a long way in helping me to read menus and signs on my trip!

travellevret, do I stump you with this question? ;) You would probably be saving me from starving and getting lost.

Somewhere I have a sheet a teacher gave me with the equivalents. It is not as bad as you might think--there are a finite number simplified radicals and these go together to make all of the simplified characters. Once you start learning them, get the hang of it pretty quickly. I think it is probably worse going from simplified to traditional.
